KIDDE FIRE FIGHTING

Industrial Gas Extinguishing Systems

FM200 Gas Extinguishing Systems

FM-200 from Dupont is the agent of choice for Halon alternative applications; it is a clean, safe, zero ozone-depleting gas which is used in low concentrations to flood a protected area in the event of fire. FM-200 not only prevents fire damage, it eliminates collateral damage to delicate equipment from the extinguishant itself and requires no post-discharge clean-up.
FM approved and UL listed, CE approved FM200 System is developed by KIDDE.

NOVEC 1230 Gas Extinguishing Systems

Novec 1230 from 3M is the agent of choice for Halon alternative applications; it is a clean, safe, zero ozone-depleting gas which is used in low concentrations to flood a protected area in the event of fire. Novec 1230 not only prevents fire damage, it eliminates collateral damage to delicate equipment from the extinguishant itself and requires no post-discharge clean-up. Furthermore its atmospheric Life is aprrox. 3days and It means that it does not create the greenhouse effect.
FM approved and UL listed, CE approved Novec 1230 System is developed by KIDDE.

ARGONITE C60 (IG55) Gas Extinguishing Systems

The natural alternative to Halon 1301

KIDDE Has developed the Argonite C60 system as a viable but environmentally friendly alternative to Halon. Tested and approved by regulatory bodies throughout the world, Argonite is effective against fires in almost all combustible materials and is particularly suitable for use in areas where the use of water, foam or powder would be unacceptable.

Ideal for Protecting high value areas

Argonite C60 system is ideally suited to the protection of fixed equipment and plant. They are particularly applicable for high value risks where fires can have devastating consequences way beyond the cost of damage and lost production.

In a closed space almost all fires are extinguished in less than 60 seconds when the oxygen concentration falls below 15%. The Argonite fire extinguishing system, based on a mixture of 50% Nitrogen and 50% Argon, reduces the oxygen concentration to 12.5% - a level acceptable to human exposure over short periods - thus eliminating the fire quickly and effectively without affecting personnel. Knowing the size and complexity of the area to be protected, the fire hazard present and the requirements of the local approving authority, a dedicated computer program is used to specify the size and geometry of the Argonite System hardware.

KIDDE Argonite C60 System is awarded by Fire Excellence Awards 2011 Winner.

LPCB approved and CE approved Argonite C60 System is developed by KIDDE. CEVSAD offers to their customer design, VDS approved Hydraulic and installation of the Argonite C60 Systems.
